Kennel Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The Kennel Assistant will be responsible for providing care and support to animals in our facility. This role requires a compassionate individual with a love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.

**Duties**:

- Feed, water, and provide general care for animals
- Clean kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Walk dogs and engage in playtime activities
- Administer medications as directed
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to supervisors
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals
- Provide basic first aid when necessary

Qualifications:

- Experience with animal care is preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic animal care is essential

Hours / Shifts

3 x afternoon shifts (12noon - 6pm)

1 x Weekend shift (8am - 1pm or 8am - 6pm)

Every shifts will be available during busy periods and staff holiday cover.

Ability to work varied shifts would be preferred.

Salary / rate of pay depends on age and experience.
