Diss Leisure Centre has been a part of the community of Diss for a long time, and

The centre is always busy, each week we run a few pool-based classes and our swim school is incredibly popular alongside these we have a busy timetable with options for the whole family. Diss Leisure Centre is part of the South Norfolk and Broadland council and is one of 5 Leisure Sites. We are a close team with lots of friendly faces, we strive for everyone to have a happy working environment with plenty of opportunity to gain qualifications and continue to develop in your careers.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Supervising the pool area
- Setting up activities within the centre such as putting lane ropes out for sessions/classes/swim school and putting out equipment.
- Ensuring the centre is well run, clean and tidy, and always ready for business
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Delivering Centre Tours, signing up members and working in reception.

**You must have**

**Essential Criteria**

**Essential Skills**

Valid RLSS NPLQ or must be prepared to undertake within 2 months of employment

Good Concentration Skills

Valid First Aid Qualification or must be prepared to undertake within 2 months of employment

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the team and customers.

Ability to work a combination of early, day and late shifts over a 7-day period to accommodate the centre’s opening hours on a rota basis.

An interest in leisure and the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage people through fitness.

Awareness of safeguarding requirements and ability to pass a full DBS check

Good Customer Skills

Previous experience within the leisure industry is desirable.
