**Job title**:FCAS Security - Senior Professional for Functional Capability

**Location**:Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

**Salary**: £54,793.00+ depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Championing the security function both within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme and wider BAE Systems
- Coordinating and leading our new security champion network of 20-30 people, which will extend into all corners of the programme, standing up in summer 2024
- Leading the continued refinement and delivery of the FCAS Security team plan. This includes putting in place the long-term recruitment routes for all of our necessary skills and locations
- Leading the delivery of the new FCAS Security Programme across the whole of the programme
- Leading the day-to-day team activities related to accelerating our progress towards our shared team goals
- Developing and coordinating the training and development plans for all members of the security team to be able to respond to future challenges
- Working closely with FCAS Security - Head of Joint Venture to plan our support to our recently announced Global Combat Air Programme (Joint Venture with Italy and Japan)
- Identifying and developing key external stakeholder relationships to promote our function and approach to support our goal of making our programme security approach a competitive advantage

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Demonstrate an understanding of security, including some or all of physical, personnel, cyber and product security
- Strong change management skills
- Understand how to empower and enable a new team to become greater than the sum of its parts, to build and maintain an inclusive culture and create the recruitment, development and progression paths to support long term success and sustainability
- Wide understanding of the training and development programmes available for the variety of skills we hold within the team
- How to implement modern coordination and tracking methods for a range of activities across a hybrid, geographically dispersed team
- Experience of delivering a large-scale security change programme, spanning technical and non-technical activities

**The FCAS Security Team**:
This team is a holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people and capabilities. We are investing in a new and innovative approach to security and this new team is looking to develop BAE’s new approach to multinational, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
