We have a job vacancy for a van driver out of our Crayford Branch.

As a delivery driver for R & B Star you are sometimes the only ‘face of the company’ that customers will come into contact with. It is therefore vitally important that you personify everything that R & B Star is. You should be well presented, friendly and helpful at all times. In short treat the customers the way you would be expected to be treated yourselves.

This position is Monday - Friday and will be 8 hours a day however may differ between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Our delivery radius is quite broad. Whilst we predominantly deliver to London & the South East, our customers needs may require us to deliver further afield.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Follow Company Policies and Procedures
- Complete an online driver delivery sheet
- Safely load vehicle with daily deliveries
- When delivering items ensure that a POD is obtained and is properly filled out
- Collect Returns (with paperwork)
- Collect Purchase orders from suppliers
- Collect lamps / tubes for recycling - only with the correct paperwork
- Ensure that your van is not overloaded
- Ring the dispatch manager at the end of shift and if required return to base for further duties
- Carryout daily vehicle checks and report any deficiencies
- That your PPE equipment is kept in good working order and report any deficiencies
- Comply with any PPE or security requirements that the delivery sites require
- Where Driver ID is provided it is to be carried at all times and presented when requested

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,750.00 per year
