Contract role paying £201 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Watford

Duration: Initial 6 months with likely extension

**The Opportunity**

This your chance to join one of the UKs largest telecom companies at the beginning of a multi-year project.

This project is aiming to enhance the service to 85,000 homes across Watford on the full fibre network, this will be an upgrade project from the current infrastructure in place. The project is mainly based on upgrading FTTC to FTTP.

This is a client side role, so you will be working directly for the network owner and operator, and the position is to manage, and drive the quality and delivery from the civils build partners.

**Responsibilities**

As a civils inspector you will be supervising various sites across the patch and ensuring the work is done to company standards as well as to industry regulations. You will maintain continuous contact with contractors, where you may need to challenge theirquality of work, discuss issues on site, review work being done.

You'll also need to inspect risk assessments, certificates for ability to work and passes and you'll be point of contact for any issues raised by the public.

**Your Background**

You'll be a NRSWA supervisor and ticket must be current - this is essential.

Regarding experience, our client is looking for someone who is experienced with street works and civils, preferably within the telecoms industry but we could consider utilities.

Due to the high level of review and auditing needed in this role, you'll need to know the difference between good and bad when it comes to quality of the build across dig and reinstatement so it's real world experience as a civils supervisor / inspectoralongside the NRSWA supervisor and then experience of SSRAMS (Specific Site Risk Assessment Method Statements).

You'll need to be on patch 5 days per week in the Watford area.
