Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as a small lunch time menu to our customers. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve a small menu ( sandwiches, cakes, paninis, soup, jacket potatoes)
- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy in preparation
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to prepare beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle cash & card transactions and process payments accurately
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Update all necessary paperwork
- Invent new seasonal drinks & lease with social media staff to help promote the Gallery.
- Help prepare the coffee shop to change over to a bar for private functions

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage recipes
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends in the coffee industry
