Shift Leader

To complete our dedicated care team in our Speyside care home in Aberlour, we are recruiting for a Shift Leader for relief cover for days and nights. (Relief hours are for as and when required to cover holidays and sickness absence).

You will manage a team of Care and Ancillary staff and will be responsible for your team members and those residents in your care whilst you are on shift. You will also be responsible for the safe delivery and recording of medication. There will be some administration/computer work involved in this role.
- Minimum required SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or 2 years extensive practical experience in an adult care setting, and working towards an SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. Knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards
- Minimum PDA in Supervision or willing to working towards.
- Desirable PDA in Medication
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Sound knowledge of English and computer literature
- Referee contact details for your current place and previous place of work
- To complete a PVG
- To register with the SSSC within 6 months of appointment

**Salary**: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
