**Product Owner - Sustainability Solutions**
**Hybrid Working - London, Kings Cross or Corby, Northants.**

As part of a new Accelerator Function for customer solutions and services, you will be responsible for defining and exploring customer ESG challenges and developing solutions by tapping into RS’s extensive existing solutions offerings, and building new commercial opportunities.

You will then design the operational delivery process of these services and lead the delivery of a commercial solution that can be offered to our customers through our sales teams and online channels. This role will require collaborating cross-functionally and globally within the Services & Solutions Accelerator function and the whole business to design the customer value proposition and end-to-end operational processes to ensure a seamless customer experience.

As part of delivery, you will work with third party suppliers to arrange contracts, define commercial relationships and own the suppler relationship, relating to services. A key part of this activity will be working with internal functions such as Legal and Indirect Procurement to ensure we have robust contracts in place. You will collaborate with suppliers, campaign managers, and marketing leads to design marketing materials. You will ensure new propositions have the relevant collateral to bring them to life. You will continuously collaborate and build relationships with various sales teams to ensure that they understand the service offering, provide data around target customers, and support the sales teams with communicating the offering with their customers.

Once delivered you will monitor the solution for success as defined in the design stage and plan any optimisation activities and/or expansion activities into other operating companies or markets.

**What you will be doing**:

- Manage and be accountable for the delivery of the end-to-end solutions including planning, building, reporting, risk management, business change, marketing, communications, launch and on-going optimisation following feedback/insight
- Collaborating globally and cross functionally with Digital, VAS, Industria, Product and Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Global Shared Business Services, Marketing and others
- Research customer challenges through using relevant market research, discussions with customers, and collaborating with customer facing teams.
- Make data driven decisions to design the commercial solution utilising business knowledge to ensure correct stakeholders identified and the right outcomes achieved.
- Designing and documenting operational processes that ensure integration into existing standard processes (where possible) and a seamless customer experience.
- Review, prioritise and plan expansion of solutions into other operating companies, markets and sales methods.
- Support delivery of the Sustainable Solutions targets, including revenue sales, number of customers ‘sold to’ and pipeline

**What we are looking for from you**:
Most of all, we are looking for a great attitude and positive approach to evolving our Sustainable Solutions service offering.

You’ll be commercially astute and customer focused, and if you have had experience in any of the following areas, that would be a real bonus:

- Solutions, Services or Product Sales
- Experience working in Sustainability, or a good understanding of ESG topic areas
- Project Management
