We are working exclusively with a fantastic not-for-profit which is looking to help grow and improve the life science/pharma/biotech industries by pairing them with investors for life changing research. They are looking for an Events Coordinator to join a teamof 5 events professionals, report into the Head of Events and drive event planning, marketing for the events, and improve the growth of the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide general end-to-end support on the delivery of the full range of the organisation's monthly events
- Creating booking pages, setting up ticketing, handling delegate queries, sharing updates with the team, dealing with smaller venues, issuing delegate information, badging, event prep onsite delegate registration and venue co-ordination
- Events also include learning courses, including in-person and virtual hosting, work with Event Manager and Head of Events to schedule all sessions, liaise with trainers, coordinate marketing activity
- Ensure all event websites are drafted and live wherever possible, coordinate the upkeep of the events calendar
- Work with the team to contribute to the event, marketing plans and ideas
Personal Profile:
- Ability to coordinate end to end event planning, as well as perform under pressure during event times
- Creative design ideas, with the confidence to contribute to the wider events team
- Organised and efficient with strong attention to detail
- Hard worker, with clear initiative to problem solve on-event, when confronted with challenges
- Strong technical knowledge of Zoom for large scale events
