Dispatch/technical Librarian

Responsible for supporting our IA and VFX departments on matters relating to Data Services and Library distribution.

The post holder will demonstrate a hands-on approach and manage all aspects of administration associated with running and delivering first-class service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the Library and Dispatch team work cohesively to deliver a first-class service across all functions.
- Dealing with deliveries of packages, letters, drives and stock. Communicating with staff quickly and efficiently to ensure the delivery of items is dealt with promptly.
- Organising couriers to meet Framestore needs. Booking local/overnight deliveries for the London office.
- Organising international couriers and sourcing appropriate documentation such as commercial invoices and delivery logistics regarding the EU etc.
- Using our library system (CETA) to log incoming client media and new stock. Quickly searching for and locating existing media as required.
- Using our procurement system (Kissflow) to log incoming deliveries. Quickly identify packages and notify the recipient departments accordingly.
- Management and maintenance of shoot kits. Make sure the cameras are always charged and the peripheral kit is returned and checked for damage. Kits are kept operational and ready for the next shoot.
- Keeping a hard copy log of all shoot kits and discrepancies.
- Management of our tape robot, including loading LTO tape media.
- Ordering Hard Drives etc.
- Assisting data services located stored or incoming drive.

**Essential Skills**
- Previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Project delivery and contractor management.
- Computer literate.
- Previous experience in managing a team
- Excellent people management skills with a proven track record in this area.
- Able to operate with mínimal input from senior management and exercise excellent judgement and decision-making.
- Customer service focussed and driven.
- Client-centred approach (even though some of the clients are ‘internal’), with strong attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Capable of organising large volumes of work for both self and others, able to multitask, work to tight deadlines when necessary and produce high-quality work under pressure.
- Confidence in when to make a decision and when to seek further clarification on a decision.
- Strong team player.
- Proactive.
- Can-do attitude.

**Desirable Skills**
- Camera or shoot kit experience.
