Bartender

**Job Title**: Bar Tender - THE CUBE at Canary Wharf, London

**Location**: Canary Wharf, other sites for training and working if required

**Responsible to**: Bars Manager, Bars Supervisor and Bars Team Leader - THE CUBE at Canary Wharf

**Main Function**: Bar Tender of a premium competitive socialising and entertainment attraction located in the heart of Canary Wharf’s busy business district.

**Main Duties**:

- Providing high performing bar service and high levels of customer satisfaction across the venue.
- Ensuring efficient maintenance of customer service, customer experience and bar quality.
- To work closely with the senior bars team to promote the delivery of a world class bar operation.
- To work with the senior team to effectively control cost of goods and disposable items to minimise wastage.
- To ensure the adherence to stringent cleaning, food safety and HACCP procedures are followed that create high levels of presentation and best practice.
- Ensuring the implementation and service of high quality cocktails and drinks.
- Working closely with the bars department of 20+ staff to create and maintain a high performing and cohesive team.

**Essential Criteria**
- At least 1-year’s experience in an bar role.
- At least 1-years’ experience working in a leisure, visitor attraction, entertainment or hospitality setting.
- Excellent understanding of cocktail service and bar service.
- Solid track record of delivering exceptional customer service standards.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
- Flexible approach to working including regular late night and weekend shifts.
- Possess laser-guided attention to detail and extremely high standards.
- Comfortable with working in a high-pressured environment where no two days can be the same.
- Big personality with the ability to work well with customers and colleagues alike.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience of working in a busy competitive socialising venue.
- Experience of working in multi-faceted food and beverage operations.
- Experience of working in medium to large sized events.
- Experience of creating cocktail menus.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
