Part time, permanent post - 22.5 hours 3 days

We need someone to develop our digital and e-therapy clinical offer to young people in City & Hackney and to offer some out of hours sessions to improve access for our young people in Specialist CAMHS.

Are you an enthusiastic and creative Highly Specialist CAMHS Practitioner enthusiastic to work in the socially and culturally diverse borough of City and Hackney and appreciate complexity and the variety of experiences our service users bring to us.

You will have an ability to champion the technology within our service, and to train colleagues to use these systems to help us improve access to our service.

This post is part of a comprehensive Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, within the East London NHS Foundation Trust and as part of the wider Hackney CAMHS Alliance. This post will include the provision of specialist CAMHS advice/consultation and mental health assessment, family interventions and liaison with other agencies, and the opportunity to supervise other clinicians.

To provide consultation and where appropriate training to other professionals, including partners in education, who come into contact with children, young people and their families/carers referred with moderate, complex and severe mental health problems.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations

The role will be varied within the E&B Team in order to provide brief treatment for often co-occurring emotional and behavioural difficulties. The team values consultation and liaison with professional networks and formulation within a systemic and community context.
