We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the dispensary team at York Hospital as a Workflow Supervisor.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You must be able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high-quality patient focused service.

This role would be suitable for a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Senior Pharmacy Assistant who wants to continue their development with team leading skills and workflow management.
- Organising and supervising dispensary activities including staff and workflow.
- Dispensing discharge, inpatient, specialist outpatient and outside unit prescription requests.
- Dispensing discharge and stock controlled drug prescription requests.
- Ordering and maintaining medication stocks as part of an allocated weekly ward top-up.
- Accuracy checking prescriptions within specified local parameters.
- Supporting with the review and implementation of SOPs and training documents.
- Mentoring and supporting the training of Senior Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacy Assistants and other members of staff.
- Participation in the weekend and bank holiday rota.
