An exciting role has arisen for a Head of Children's Services for our well established client based in London. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated person, who has a strong background in, and a passion for leading high quality and professional care services, to join the team as the Head of Children & Family Services.

The successful Head of Children & Family Services will be responsible for the overall strategic operational management of all service delivery and for ensuring organisation wide quality and effectiveness. They will lead, manage, develop and monitor operational managers and processes, staffing structures and robust continuous quality improvement procedures, underpinning continued sustainability and growth.

Working in alignment with the Operations Director and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the successful Head of Children & Family Services will work closely with department heads across the organisation to drive a high level of organisational performance developing business & financial efficiencies.

**Key skills and experience**:

- With experience in a senior management role which included strategic planning, people and financial management, change management and implementing new systems
- Have detailed knowledge of the external regulatory framework and compliance
- Have the ability to communicate clearly, assertively, and diplomatically at all levels

**The main responsibilities of the Head of Children & Family Services include**:

- To set strategic direction, objectives and aims, ensuring clear communication, values, vision, priorities and expectations to ensure the engagement of teams to deliver services of the highest quality
- To ensure service are delivered to the highest standard and are consistent with the principles and values held.
- To ensure development of the services in response to changing needs and priorities in service delivery for children and families
- To facilitate collaboration with other departments, key stakeholders and users of services to promote creative and innovative ways to deliver services which meet the needs of the people we support, and promote the capacity within the Community
- To ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and effective services in line with CQC and Ofsted requirements, taking immediate remedial action where gaps or inconsistencies are found
- Be responsible for delivery of the Children & Family Service annual Business Plan, including delivery of agreed performance and financial targets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
