**The Company**

Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are currently recruiting for a Cook on a part time basis for a health and social care charity based in Pontefract. This is a part time, permanent role.

**The Role**

This is a part time (25 hours per week), permanent role, based on site.

Within this role you will take responsibility for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including general health and safety.

As well as this you will:

- Lead on the preparation, cooking and serving of meals
- Have an active role in and having a creative approach to providing suitable meals
- Take responsibility in identifying the ordering of ingredients, working within a budget
- Check all incoming stock deliveries for quantity and quality of ingredients
- Qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Catering/Cooking
- Experience of using various kitchen equipment
- The ability to tailor menu options to specific needs
- Ability to be able to work at pace
- Excellent customer service skills
