The company has assets under management of nearly £8 billion and covers a wide range of sectors with a particularfocus on social infrastructure and renewable energy. This is a fast-growing, trusted business with a view to responsibly managing long-term funds.

You would be joining the fund management department as Fund Financial Controller, taking on primary accounting responsibility. Reporting directly into Fund Director and ultimately the CFO this is a great role for an accountant to come straight out of practiceinto the Infrastructure/Renewables space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reporting on investment performance and monitoring the introduction of new investments to ensure that investment returns are as expected or optimised.
- Producing annual fund statutory accounts and subsequent audit.
- Interrogating financial models and collating investment reports to monitor and evaluate project performance.
- Financial due diligence of target investments
- Progression to involvement with the asset management team and to provide business partnering role to the wider commercial and deal teams.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant with experience in industry or practice.
- Strong Excel skills with an understanding of financial models.
- Experience of accounting in a foreign currency.
- Project/fund accounting experience preferred.
