An excellent opportunity has arisen for our client. We are seeking an individual, who has experience in making and taking calls on a regular basis each day, collating information, accurate record keeping and experience of customer service in an office environment.

The role will involve working within a well-established team, assisting with the first stages of commercial property claims. This involves taking calls from policy holders who are looking to raise a claim, finding out the details of the incident, recording and updating records of claims within the system.

You will then keeping customers updated on the progress of their claim and settling small value claims (following a training period). We’ll provide you with the training and tools that you need to help develop your skills and knowledge.

We’re looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, combined with the ability to impart information and maintain accurate data. Proven skills in developing and maintaining close working relationships, both internally and externally is essential.

**Your skills**:

- Previous knowledge of experience within an insurance company would be advantageous but not essential
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with Customers, Clients and Colleagues
- Comfortable making and receiving calls, which sometimes rise to high-volume during busy periods
- The ability to prioritise your workload effectively
- The ability to work on your own initiative
- The ability to develop and maintain a close working relationship with our customers, to promote customer satisfaction during all stages of the claim
- Ability to demonstrate understanding and empathy throughout
- Excellent IT skills
- Existing or intention to progress your career within this industry, with access to industry relevant qualification

**Salary**: £20,820.80-£23,000.00 per year
