Shipping Clerk

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming shipments with precision, meticulously verifying contents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct thorough inspections and meticulously document any damages or discrepancies in received shipments.
- Utilize forklifts and other specialized equipment to unload and load materials onto trucks or designated storage areas efficiently.
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring meticulous labeling and secure packaging for safe transportation.
- Maintain meticulous records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, contributing to seamless warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient logistics.
- Organize and uphold optimal inventory levels within the warehouse, contributing to a well-structured and efficient storage system.
- Operate advanced warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and monitor item locations accurately.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a streamlined and efficient workflow throughout warehouse operations.

**Experience**:

- Preferably possess prior experience in shipping and receiving roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of logistics processes.
- Knowledgeable about warehouse operations and procedures, with a keen understanding of industry best practices.
- Familiarity with the effective use of warehouse management systems to optimize inventory control.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping, ensuring precision in inventory management.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required for the role.
