We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude who thrives on a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining high quality standards. You will be given training with Hydraulic products but will be expected to have good customer service and the ability to build rapport and support a team.

As the Depot Assistant you will be based in the trade counter located on-site at our head office in Kidderminster on a full-time basis, you will be building on existing relations, for hydraulic hose, and ancillary parts, and supporting our 24/7 engineering service. You will work alongside the Branch Manager and be involved in the day-to-day functions of the branch. Handling a wide range of administrative and sales support related tasks. You will be dealing with customers and assisting with their queries about our products.

Your duties and responsibilities as the Depot Assistant will include:

- Arranging deliveries via courier or delivery vehicle.
- Maintain local awareness of competitors and potential customers.
- Monitoring client usage for trends/changes.
- Processing orders, completing hose assemblies, and assisting with quotes and technical data.
- Stock management for the trade counter and assisting with the replenishment of service vans.
- Maximising spends from clients and upselling of suitable products and fittings.
- General administration duties, and teams support as required.

As the Branch Assistant you should have the following skills, qualifications, and competencies:

- Good communication, customer service and rapport building.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
- Knowledge of H&S and PPE.
- Ability to prioritise, organise, work at a fast pace and multi-task.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
- Computer literate with MS Office (other in-house software will be required for use).
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to achieve deadlines.
