Track Civil Solutions is a leading provider of railway infrastructure solutions dedicated to enhancing the safety and efficiency of railway systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Controller of Site Safety (COSS) to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the safety and integrity of railway tracks.

**Position Summary**:As a Controller of Site Safety (COSS) at Track Civil Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all railway personnel working on or near the tracks. You will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing work activities to prevent accidents and incidents, ultimately contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the railway.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor and control access to the worksite, ensuring only authorized personnel are present.
- Oversee and coordinate safe working practices on the railway track.
- Implement safety measures and communicate them to the workforce.
- Perform safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and compliance issues.
- Liaise with railway authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with railway regulations and industry standards.
- Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to the work crew, emphasizing safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Controller of Site Safety (COSS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of railway safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven experience in a similar role on railway projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £19.00-£20.00 per hour
