Bulk Controller

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Management of Drivers and accurate reporting of issues to Shift Manager.
- Management of Lone Worker System.
- Control of defect sheets and liaison with repair agents to maximise vehicle availability.
- Control of Driver Inductions and licensing.
- Monitor and report availability-liaison with Planning Department, including on-call planner.
- Use of IT systems including loading system and Liaison to report downtime.
- Control and allocation of vehicle keys and fuel cards.
- Use of planning tools as and when required.
- Cover for Tilbury and South Ferriby as and when required.
- Initial capture and early, accurate reporting of Health and Safety, Environmental and road traffic incidents.
- Ensure all drivers are fully compliant with site Health and Safety standards.
- Working 1 Saturday per fortnight rotation.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Logistical Admin methodologies and systems.
- Experience of admin in a transport environment.
- Good IT skills.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Able to solve a variety of intricate problems on own initiative working with LGV drivers’ company and contract haulers.
- Awareness of Drivers hours and rules.
- Comfortable communicating at all levels.
- Excellent Telephone communication skills.

Rotating shifts 1 week Days 7:00 - 15:00 - 1 week Afternoons 15:00 - 23:00. Working 1 in 2 Saturdays.

The Monday on days shift is a 5:00 - 15:00

**Salary**: £28,700.00 per year
