**The Opportunity**

Are you an experienced Ocean Imports Clerk or Freight Forwarder looking for a role within an established Global Logistics Company with continued projected growth? We are looking for a strong Ocean Imports Clerk or Freight Forwarder to be part of an established team in Southampton who operate in Ocean Imports.

**Role**

As an Ocean Imports Clerk or Freight Forwarder your duties will include:

- Arranging ocean import shipments from point of origin to destination
- Liaising with overseas agents, co-loaders and shipping lines
- Booking deliveries with shipping line and merchant haulage companies
- Providing quotation to customers

**Skills**

As an experienced Ocean Imports Clerk or Freight Forwarder you will:

- Have a good understanding of ocean imports ideally 2 years
- Advantageous working knowledge of health certificates and the submission of IPAFFS
- Be a strong communicator with the ability to handle objections
- Have excellent organisation skills
- Have a good working knowledge of customs declaration service
