We are looking to appoint a Galvanising Apprentice within our Galvanising department based at our Head Quarters in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn about all the aspects of galvanising. You will work alongside our experienced galvanising team and be taught the galvanising process including inspection, degreasing, pickling and fluxing.
- **Use of handheld scanners**
- **Hand wiring of products to Jigs**
- **Operation of overhead crane equipment**
- **Safe handling of products**
- **Quality and quantity checking**
- **Health, Safety & Environmental Processes and Procedures**
- **General administration**
- **Maintaining a safe and clean work environment**

Applicants must be able to demonstrate willingness to work towards the apprenticeship and show the right aptitude and commitment.

Typical duration of the apprenticeship is 13 Months, which includes a week long residential development programme in the Peak District. During the programme you will take part in a number of indoor and outdoor activities to help you develop both personally and professionally.

The above position will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 32 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 34 days), auto-enrolment into our pension scheme which includes 5% employer contributions and employee life insurance. Other benefits include company sick pay, an optional company saving scheme, and a cycle-to-work scheme. All employees are encouraged to develop within their role, therefore additional training will be given where necessary.

**Salary**: £7.29-£8.51 per hour
