Are you an engaging individual who can provide great customer service, calm leadership, exceptional organisational skills along with a love for delivering first class support? We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator.

This role not only supports the property team with a whole range of services but also plays a key role in the visitor team as a duty manager on weekends, bank holidays and other times. As part of a busy team looking after thousand of visitors a week you need to be able to think on your feet as no day here is the same.

What it's like to work here:Covering as much as 2,000 hectares of heather-covered hills with stunning views of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Welsh hills, this is an important place for wildlife, geology and archaeology.

The Business Service Coordinator role works within the visitor team alongside our very busy Learning and Welcome teams. The role also supports across the property team of more than twenty staff including Food & Beverage along with Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge Ranger teams and a large volunteer team of over 100. Carding Mill Valley is an extremely busy visitor site, especially over weekend and school holidays and this role requires a cool head when duty manager at these busy times.

What you'll be doing:The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same so you’ll have to love variety. This role is a key part of the day to day visitor operation, leading the team when duty manager but you’ll also have the chance to support a variety of projects and offer your advice beyond your team. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something. As a duty manager you'll be able to deal with a variety of challenges, from managing volunteers to locating lost sheep

- Relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Great team player
- Flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
- Well organised and attention to detail
- Advanced IT Skills
