**ASSISTANT COOK**

***Woodham and New Haw/Addlestone Social Centres**

**Salary Range £11,413 - £12,416, depending on experience for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday**

We are currently seeking a confident, enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Cook to be a part of our small friendly kitchen team at the Woodham and New Haw Social Centre in New Haw, Addlestone.

The Centre provides activities; services & support for older & vulnerable residents of Runnymede, which includes the provision of a high quality, two course home cooked meal. Specifically, you will work as part of a team preparing and serving meals at both Woodham & New Haw Centre (KT15 3ET) and our Addlestone Day Centre service (currently KT15 2AR)

You, along with the Cook in Charge will budget and plan menus, prepare daily meals and maintain adequate stock levels. You will also stock a tea bar with freshly prepared cakes and sandwiches.

You will be expected to deputise for the Cook in Charge for periods of absence, so experience of supervising staff would be desirable. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing a high-quality service and who enjoys working with people. There is also a requirement for flexibility, as we would expect this person to assist in the covering sickness and holiday across our other centres.

Although no experience is necessary, as we provide full training, we are looking for someone who is committed to providing an excellent service and who enjoys working with people.

A flexible approach and a friendly personality are key attributes.
