Duties

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Utilizing aseptic techniques to draw blood samples from patients
- Labeling vials accurately and ensuring proper handling of blood samples
- Assisting in ensuring specimens are prepared for delivery to laboratory for testing
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Performing venipuncture and skin puncture procedures

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Familiarity with basic life support procedures
- Competency in catheterization techniques

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
