Payroll Administrator

37.5 hour per week contract - 9.00am-5.00pm
Youth Hubz provide supported accommodation for vulnerable young people and care leavers aged 16 plus, whilst developing their independence as they prepare for adult life, keeping them safe in a homely and nurturing environment. **Responsibilities**:
- Primarily submitting monthly payroll information to external accountants
- Provide support in the introduction to process payroll internally
- Postings and reconciliations of payroll related control accounts
- Resolution of any issues or discrepancies
- RTI submissions to HMRC
- Nest pension enrolments and submissions
- Year-end including P60s
- Management of employee benefits and pool vehicles including submissions of P11Ds
- Dealing with correspondence and enquires from HMRC, DWP and any other external payroll matters
- Stay up-to-date with relevant HMRC requirements
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies
**Experience & Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, regulations and best practices
- Strong technical, IT and numerical abilities
- Proficient in using Xero and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse data accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Solid understanding of accounting principles related to payroll processing
