Are you a skilled manual lathe machinist? A position based on a 37 hour basic week has arisen at a well-established engineering company in Huddersfield which service the market in heavy duty hydraulic cylinders.

**Key duties of the Manual Turner will include**:

- Setting up various jobs for a manual centre lathe
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.
- Communicating with supervision on any issues.
- Inspecting manufactured products to ensure quality.
- Adhering to safe working practices at all times.
- Performing all necessary safety checks to ensure integrity and effectiveness of the department.
- To attend and complete any training courses if required.
- Working with volume, and batches.
- Working to tight limits in a high precision environment.
- Workshop Housekeeping.
**You will be working within the repairs shop and ideally have the experience and ability to hit the ground running in this role, producing high precision components**.
