Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit Production Operators for our Chilled Business. As a Production Operator you will work within our high care department, supporting the production of mash potatoes:
Operating mash mixing machinery
Reading batching sheets for using correct ingredients
Working to safety standards
Ensuring that the correct Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene procedures are followed
Working as part of a team
This work is within a Chilled Food Manufacturing Environment therefore previous experience working within a similar environment, along with Food Hygiene and HACCP Awareness, would be advantageous. All site specific and food safety training will be provided.
About The Role
HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Friday 06:00-14:30
These are the core working hours and flexibility with start and finish times is required. Flexibility will also be required to include weekend working.
SALARY
£10.42 per hour
LOCATION
Albert Bartlett, 251 Stirling Rd, Airdrie ML6 7SP.

About The Company
Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland.
Nine years later, Albert’s experience and expertise helped him grow the business, and along with his two sons, Jimmy and Alex, he found a new home for their flourishing company in Airdrie, Scotland.
On that very same site, we made history when we became the first factory in Britain to pre-pack carrots in a plastic bag.
Over the years, our expanding business has stayed true to Albert’s spirit of innovation and passion for quality, and we’ve built on our experience.
Today, we proudly supply potatoes from our network of farmers and growers across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Jersey.
Company Culture
Over 70 years since Albert started the business, we remain proudly independent and the fourth generation of the Bartlett family is now working in the company. Our headquarters are in Airdrie, only four miles or so from our founder’s original business.
