**Ocean Pricing Clerk**

**£28,000 to £30,000**

An international shipping and logistics company in Liverpool are currently seeking an Ocean Pricing Clerk to join their expanding team. The main purpose of the role is to be the point of contact for both colleagues and clients for various quotations for the ocean service. On offer is a basic salary of £28,000 to £30,000. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

**Please note this is an office-based position.**

The main duties of an Ocean Pricing Clerk are:

- Be the initial point of contact for colleagues and clients- Provide quotations on services available and ensure all correspondence is responded to within the timeframe- Liaise with shipping lines, non-vessel operating common carriers and consolidators to provide options on services- Manage, control, follow up, measure, and analyse success of all quote requests- Assist wider team with spot pricing for sales enquiries- Oversee costs and revenue- Ensure a consistent and uninterrupted service is provided for all clients- Make sure all correspondence is accurately logged-
