Are you an experienced Merchandiser looking to work for a leading organisation that is going through an exciting period of growth?

Are you analytically minded and with Advanced Excel skills?

Our Client is a leading importer of beautiful home têxtiles, supplying major retailers in the UK and due to their ever expanding growth they now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:
To be responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for given range.
Review historical sales figures and record lessons learned through the season
Liaising with factories and Quality department to ensure shipment dates are met for ongoing and new lines.
Recognising when issues need to be flagged up with the business to a senior management
To manage your products and report any potential issues to the Manager in a timely manner.
Manage the intake of stock within given stock turn targets.
Manage own stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure.
Assisting with range planning through Ranking meetings.
Plan initial buys for new lines.
Managing the system to ensure products are set up correctly and factories have sufficient information.
Collate and manage potential discontinued products.
