Buyer (Indirect)

**Here at Sciensus a new opportunity has arisen for an Indirect Buyer to join our Procurement team on a permanent basis.**

**This will be a hybrid working role, coming into our Burton office at least 2 days a week,**

Essentially, you will support the Indirect Procurement Category Manager in developing and maintaining long term relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers and to ensure that Sciensus procure their Indirect products and services in the most cost-effective way and that supplier contracts are properly executed.

You will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle within assigned categories, support thePurchase2Pay Team in resolving Purchase Order & Invoice queries and be responsible for supplier relationship management, resolving supplier issues, supplier performance management and develop plans for continuous improvement.

**This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply**:

- Previous buying experience within a Technology, HR or Logistics category would be beneficial.
- Experience in working in cross functional teams.
- Experience in delivery of supplier solutions.
- Experience in SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
- Experience in Contract Management
- Experience in Indirect category management
- Experience and understanding of the Purchasing Lifecycle
- Experience in working in cross functional teams.
- Proven experience of working in an Indirect Buyer role.
