**Job Description & Person Specification**
- Job Title: Accounts Executive - Freight
- Reports to Head of Logistics

**Responsibilities**

At EBISS UK, we bring an enormous amount of ingenuity and experience to our customers through skills and knowledge.

**Your responsibilities will include.**
- Operational point of contact for customers managing the logístical tasks on a daily basis to provide high quality and timely communications to ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinating fine art, event and general freight logistics including customs procedures for imports, exports and international domestic shipments throughout all transport modes (Air, Courier, sea, Road,).
- Be responsible for all quoting, invoicing and financial aspects of the shipments, ensuring profitability and commercial success
- Maintaining operating systems to manage shipments and quotes.
- Ensure all shipping aspects of client requirements are adhered to particularly the service specifications.
- Taking ownership of and managing the whole client experience of the shipping process ensuring client satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
- Forward planning of all operational requirements to ensure adequate resources are available.
- Liaise with the Sales team to plan to understand the clients requirements
- Liaising with clients/customers regarding their consignment or status of their project.
- Managing the resolution of any dispute or operational problem as far as possible. Recognising when to seek further approval or authorisation for a particular course of action and refer to line manager.
- Working with and managing healthy relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Positively contribute to creating a fun teamwork environment.
- To understand and achieve personal and team targets.
- Attend all training and team meetings to improve own career development.
- Address customer complaints effectively and signpost to management team.
- To observe the Company Policy on Health, Safety and Stress at work.
- To observe the Company rules, Policies, and Procedures applicable to all employees in line with the Employee Handbook and Terms & Conditions, along with any site-specific Policies & Procedures.
- To be a company ambassador at all times.
- Notwithstanding the Job Purpose and Duties and Responsibilities included in this job description, the post holder must be prepared to undertake additional tasks, duties and responsibilities at the discretion of senior management and that fall within the strategic objectives of EBISS.

**Key professional and personal Requirements**
- Strong communication skills
- A good knowledge of UK and International customs requirements including home use, IPR, temporary imports and exports, ATA Carnet
- Knowledge of raising shipping documents including AWB, Courier shipments, CMR
- Knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry
- A proactive can-do attitude and willingness to stay until the job is done
- General understanding or awareness of other areas of the business and impact of your role (transport, finance, operations).
- Excellent in problem-solving and decision making, professional and positive approach and self-motivated.
- Confident in using IT systems, following processes used in the transport sector
- Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels.
- Someone who is comfortable working on their own or within a team and confident enough to lead a group of individuals to achieve a positive result.
- Excellent attention to detail & strong administrative skills who can work to deadlines.
- Comfortable in taking directions and adaptable to change who has clear communication both written and verbally.
- General working pattern is Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00, however due to the nature of the role you may be required to work outside of these hours including weekends.
- Ability to travel to support both in the UK and internationally.

**Location and Pay**
- We are based at Bolney Grange Business Park, Stairbridge Lane, Haywards Heath, RH17 5PB
- Starting pay is £31,000
