- Key Responsibilities
- 1) Issuing, amending Import L/C’s
- 2) Advising, amending Export L/C’s
- 3) Standby Letters of Credits
- 4) First checking of documents over Fifty Thousand Pounds Sterling and deferral of discrepancies.
- 5) Sole checking of documents under Fifty Thousand Pounds Sterling and deferral of discrepancies
- 6) Negotiation of documents
- 7) Preparing of payment
- 8) Preparation of Advances, Acceptances, Loans, Deposits and Bridge Finance
- 9) Discounts and foreign exchange deals
- 10) Inward/Outward collections.
- 11) Back-to-Back Letters of Credits with Structured Trade Finance Transaction.
- 12) Sending documents “in trust” for Export L/C’s.
- 13) Liaison with client’s/Account Managers/Beneficiaries relating to all of the above.
- 14) Periodic Invoicing & Sundry Tasks

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

ESSENTIAL:Minimum requirement - Educated to GCSE level which is to include passes in at least English and Mathematics or equivalent.
ESSENTIAL:Experience in an International first class bank dealing with all aspects of Trade Finance
- Soft skills
ESSENTIAL:PC literate.Good telephone mannerAbility to work under pressureAbility to organise their workloadSelf motivated
- Outils informatiques
ESSENTIAL:Good working knowledge of all current ICC Literature in respect of Documentary Credits, Collections, Reimbursements and Standby Letters of CreditsGood working knowledge of SWIFT, Excel, Word
