**Warehouse Operative**

**Swadlincote**

**£10.50 per hour**

We are seeking to hire a competent individual to add to an experienced and friendly Warehouse team, for my well-established client who is based in Swadlincote.

This is an excellent opportunity to join this expanding family run business and to keep up with their ever-growing demand.

You will be given a full induction into the company which includes comprehensive training on their systems to bring you up to speed, as well as bespoke training within the fast-paced and highly technical hand and power tool industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Stock control and replenishment
- Goods In
- Face-to-face customer service and sales, selling hand and power tools, hardware, fixings, plumbing and work wear to the Trade and Public
- Creating product displays
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe warehouse environment

**Hours and Salary**:

- Alternate working weeks consisting of:

- Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 4:00pm
- Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Alternate Saturday - 7:30am to 5:00pm
- Fully paid lunch breaks
- Previous experience working in a warehouse and/or trade counter environment
- Must be comfortable & preferably knowledgeable in dealing with customers
- Able to work as part of a team
- Have an excellent level of self-motivation and the ability to work as an individual
- Excellent time-keeping properties
- Previous reach truck experience would be beneficial
- Competent knowledge of hand and power tools, hardware, fixings, and plumbing
