Northumbria Healthcare NHS FT provides health and social care services in Primary care, Acute hospitals, Community hospitals and services and adult Social care (PACS) through the 10000 employed staff. Northumbria Healthcare’s Nutrition and Dietetics Administrative team provides support to all of our dietetic services. This post will be specifically aligned to the AWMS providing exceptional care for our patients and some Trustwide travel may be required.

The Northumberland AWMS is an evolving service and this post will be part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including dietitians, psychologists and a health and fitness facilitator, as well as additional administrative support.

This post will be required to have frequent dialog with patients in order to facilitate their smooth transition through the service and will require a good knowledge of virtual working to support patients using Microsoft Teams.

The post holder will support the AWMS Admin team with regular reviews of service demand and capacity, including database management.

Any other duties required to ensure the effective and efficient running of the service, as required by the Admin Lead.

To provide administrative support to the team to improve the efficiency of services.

To carry out general administrative duties including but not limited to
- Co-ordinate meetings, book venues, produce agendas and type minutes.
- Point of contact for AWM service for external agencies and clients.
- To answer the telephone and take messages.
- Producing documents using Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database or presentation graphics as appropriate including letters, memos, reports and statistical information.

To maintain departmental records including
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems

**Office duties including**:
- Opening, Sorting and distribution of mail.
- Photocopying / scanning documents / uploading to Mediviewer
- Filing.

Other appropriate duties as determined by the Admin Lead

To ensure the smooth administration of service to enable the MDT to provide a high-quality service to clients.

To proactively co-ordinate diaries within the team to maximize efficiency.
