**Role and Responsibilities**:
As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our talented team and driving the success of our food-led pub. Your responsibilities will include:
**Leadership**: Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards in all aspects of the operation.

**Operations**: Oversee the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

**Food and Beverage**: Collaborate with our talented chefs to curate a seasonal menu that showcases fresh, high-quality, and locally sourced ingredients. Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.

**Customer Experience**: Foster a welcoming and friendly environment for customers, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

**Community Engagement**: Establish and maintain strong ties with the local community, organizing events and activities that appeal to our diverse customer base.

**Financial Management**: Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and profitability to achieve business targets and growth objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a General Manager in a food-led establishment, ideally in a country pub or high-quality restaurant setting.
- A genuine passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
- Sound financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and seasonal produce is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £34,500.00 per year
