MGTS is an innovative and resourceful leader in the provision of workforce development solutions through education, training and assessment providing apprentice training as well as a full range of commercial courses.

Due to continued demand in engineering apprenticeship requirements by Companies locally and nationally, we are seeking to appoint an additional enthusiastic and customer focused recruitment co
- ordinator, to provide efficient and friendly support to both applicants and companies alike.

**Role requirements**:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An organised and calm under pressure approach to work
Self-starter who is proactive and can work on own initiative
Well organised and committed to meeting deadlines
Full driving licence

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
Provide outstanding customer service with regular communication to both companies and applicants and clarifying their requirements throughout the recruitment process.

Work closely with colleagues, particularly in recruitment and sales, to assist and ensure that the recruitment process is responsive and apprenticeship vacancies are advertised and filled within agreed timescales.

Attendance at school, regional careers and MGTS promotional events to assist in providing information and advice to young people, parents, schools and companies on our engineering apprenticeships.

MGTS staff.
Screen applicants for suitability in line with necessary entry requirements and advise applicants accordingly.
Co-ordinate the matching of suitable applicants to be short listed for apprenticeship vacancies and submitting their details to companies.
Arrange for companies to interview suitable applicants.
Scan in and maintain up-to-date electronic copies of applicant details.

Ensure recruitment database is up-to-date.
Maintain accurate records of company interviews and outcomes.
Support companies with assessment centres where required.
Feedback outcome of company interviews to applicants (where needed)
Send out apprentice joining instructions to successful applicants and companies.
Ensure that apprentice compliance paperwork is produced and issued to apprentices upon starting their apprenticeship.
Maintain a current and ongoing knowledge of our engineering apprenticeships and funding to provide accurate information to companies.
