IWJS is a part of M Group Services and works with major water utilities, infrastructure, industry and government agencies providing waste management solutions, specialising in water jetting services across the UK.

IWJS employs over 500 staff across various depots across the UK and due to our continued expansion, we are now looking for an Assistant Drainage Operative based in Stoke.

Please note as part of this role you may be required to start work as early as 6am. The work we carry out on the Sewerage Network can mean you may come in to contact with raw sewerage.

As an Assistant Drainage Operative, you will attend emergency call out situations assisting with sewer blockages, flooding and pollution, working across commercial and industrial sectors as well as residential properties. You will provide a clean and efficient domestic service to customers, operating specially designed jetting tankers. You will also support the team with a range of services including clearance, maintenance and unblocking drains.

In addition, you will ensure that our health and safety protocols and policies are always followed to ensure everyone goes home safe. You will undertake vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift, keeping the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis.

Can you demonstrate awareness of NRSWA Chapter 8?

Do you have a CSCS Card?

Are you aware how to operate High Pressure Water Jetting and Drain Cleaning?

**Additional Information**
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction
