Achnagairn Estate is a five star award winning exclusive use venue. It's a venue bursting with personality, and while our core business is weddings and events, our beautiful, very unique 68 bedrooms are a very important part of our offer.

We are looking for housekeepers to join our team and support our Heads of Housekeeping We have a schedule of events and stays, but can offer flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.

We are looking for someone with experience in housekeeping, with good communication skills, and a passion for high standards. We hope to find the sort of people who go into a room and immediately want to make sure a bed looks perfect We have a kind and supportive team, and are also looking for people who would be a good fit.

From our décor - quirky designs, with a round bed in a round turret room in ‘Ring a Roses’, or a full wooden boat built into the wall in ‘Three Men in a Boat’ - to our interaction with clients - we strive to keep the word ‘no’ out of our vocabulary - we make it our mission to weave in an extraordinary experience.

We are looking for people to start as soon as possible, but can be flexible on this too.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Providing exceptional service to both guests and to colleagues
- Servicing public areas and guest bedrooms to the required five-star standard at all times
- Joining a team of housekeepers on busy 'turnaround' days to ensure that bedrooms are ready to a high standard, in time for guest arrivals
- To report promptly any room defects, scuffs and fabric damage including equipment and light bulbs to department manager, and ensure it is correctly logged
- To be aware of and comply with statutory requirements regarding work place such as health and safety, hygiene, fire prevention, manual handling and chemicals (COSHH) and other substances that may be hazardous to your and others health
- To ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- To carry out regular deep cleaning of all areas of the estate as directed by the Housekeeping management
- To carry out any other reasonable duty if need to assist in the smooth running of the estate
