TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR

The Position

We have an exciting, new opportunity to appoint a Transport Administrator to join our Team based at our site in Lichfield.

Shifts Required
- Rotating days - (6:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00) working any 5 out of a 7 day week including weekends on a rotated basis.

Role Responsibilities
- Working within our Transport department and reporting directly to the transport team manager
- Working aligned to the other departments including transport planning and the warehouse
- Dispatching drivers, managing fleet compliance, raising defect issues and completing driver briefs and debriefs
- You will be involved with the ongoing communication throughout the progress of outbound and inbound routes, compliance, and service fulfilment daily - into and out of the depot
- Your role will include operating numerous reporting tools

- Evidence of a good administrative background, working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexibility is required
- Willingness to learn
