Housekeeper/cleaner

Botleigh Grange Hotel & Spa, an iconic venue will be reopening its doors after an extensive refurbishment project with 62 rooms. This historic country house hotel, set in 14 acres includes fishing lakes, landscaped gardens, outdoor terraces, and adjacent woodland. Botleigh Grange was originally built as a private Country House during the 17th century. The property is in close proximity to the Hamble Sailing waters and 2.3 miles from the Ageas Bowl cricket grounds.

**The Hotel is looking for a Housekeeper / Cleaner**:
**The role will be**:To carry out cleaning of rooms and toilets as required by the hotel’s standards.
- Present a warm welcome, and a speedy, efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, ensuring room standards are met within the allocated time frame.
- To carry out daily housekeeping duties in accordance with the job requirements.
- To establish and maintain effective communications with colleagues.
- To comply with the Health and Safety policy of the Hotel
- To promote the Hotel in a positive manner.

**Experience**:

- As a Housekeeping Assistant / Cleaner or similar role
- Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and safety
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment
- Flexible with shift patterns.

**Ability to commute/relocate**: Able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**: housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)**Work Location**: Botley, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
