D Hollowell &Sons is an independent family run funeral service. We work around the clock to serve our local communities, easing the burden a loss can bring.

We take great pride in the professional and personal service we offer, recognising the value of a live lived, and facilitating meaningful ways for the family to celebrate the memory of their loved one.

The Role

The successful applicant will play a key part in delivering care to families and loved ones on the day of the funeral. They will be required to collect family members and/or the deceased in company vehicles (hearses or limousines), and ensure that they are returned to their preferred location at the end of proceedings.

They will take pride in their appearance complying with company policy dress code, and act with empathy, compassion and professionalism at all times, and will ensure the vehicles are kept clean and presentable.

Whilst they will report directly to a member of Senior management, they will work as part of a team under the direction of a Funeral Director on the day of the funeral.

It is an essential requirement to hold a full UK driving license.
