Futures Recruitment Services are seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join our client's team based in Bognor Regis.

As the Assembly Technician, you will be working in the Production area and will be responsible for the correct manufacture and calibration oof small high-precision sensors.

**Key duties and responsibilities of the Assembly Technician**:
1. Assemble, test, and calibrate small precision transducers

2. Working from drawings - assembling small batches and prototypes without work instructions

3. Liaise with production engineering on the development of tools and other aids to improve the processes.

4. Report any issues (shortages, faults, complications, etc.) to the Production Supervisor

5. Assist operators with any issues and provide training for new operators as required.

6. Liaise with Engineering during New Product Development to help move New Products into the main production arena.

7. Create or modify Work Instructions

8. Sign off design changes to prevent unexpected impacts on manufacturing.

9. Work to targets set by the supervisor.

**Essential skills desired for the Assembly Technician**:

- Good verbal and written communication
- Able to demonstrate dexterity
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Utilised soldering in a previous role
- Basic understanding of electronics
