House Keeper

Lambton House is a 57 bedroom family run care home for people with residential and dementia care needs.

The Housekeeper Assistant is part of the domestic team and as such will be required to work with other staff and maintain a clean and safe environment for all Service Users and staff.

Main duties:
Ensure Infection control policies and procedures are adhered to. This means you will:

- Promote the Company Mission Statement at all times.
- All beds to be made daily
- Ensure all en-suites are cleaned daily.
- Thoroughly clean washable mattresses weekly.
- Report any issues or concerns noted
- Chemicals must be stored in line with the COSHH requirements.
- Flexable working hours to cover holidays and/or sickness.

Person Specification:
Professional
- Have an understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008

Experience
- Able to demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels
- Genuine interest in working in a care environment.

General
- Demonstrate care and compassion.
- Team player.
- Required to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Domestic: 1 year (preferred)
- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving (preferred)
