**Job Role**:
This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest Private Healthcare Teleradiology company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who are expanding their Compliance Management Team due to organic business growth.

This job will provide you with training and experience in UK GDPR and data protection legislation. A Trainee Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Compliance Management Team to ensure the organisation avoids legal issues and maintains security and confidentiality through a robust framework of staff training, incident management, accreditations, and information rights. This role offers you the opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders for the delivery of a robust and responsive compliance plan. No two days are the same

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Develop an understanding of survey and audit requirements for CQC, QSI, DSPT, GDPR and CHKS and related information gathering and document control
- Support the business in attaining and retaining relevant accreditations, i.e. ISO15189
- Assist staff across the business to gather data, submit documents and attend industry related audits
- Review and collate documents and written statements for CHKS for Medica Ireland
- Contribute to the development of a quality plan and calendar for the UK and Ireland covering all standards
- Assist the business with the implementation of a continual improvement plan
- Support the DPO with investigation of data protection incidents

- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage work time and prioritise tasks in an agile fashion
- Willing to develop new skills and work with a wide variety of teams
- Enthusiasm to understand quality management in healthcare
- Able to demonstrate effective independent working
- Previous experience in an administrative role
