**Are you someone who would like to combine your love of supporting individuals in a residential setting alongside working on a 250-acre farm?**
**We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals with either a working knowledge of small farm animal care or health & fitness to join our team supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Conditions. The role would be based within our residential services, with an emphasis on facilitating engagement for individuals in attending the farm activities.**
**We are based on a 250-acre farm site and offer a wide range of activities to individuals who live in our residential services, as well as offering our services to external individuals who enjoy the outdoor activities on offer.**
**In addition to having the above backgrounds we also require applicants to have**:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual vehicles)
- Commitment, enthusiasm, and a positive can-do attitude
- Basic IT skills
- Able to work flexibly to reflect the needs of the service (evenings, weekends & bank holidays)
- Some experience of managing a team / service
- Some experience of the care sector would be desirable.
- The ability to complete both residential care work and outdoor activities.
**Responsibilities of a Farm Leader**
- To plan, resource and deliver a variety of activities to individuals with varying needs
- To ensure all health & safety is adhered to and be able to recognise the health & well -being of the animals on site
- To ensure appropriate risk assessments are in place
- To develop and motivate staff teams to actively participate in the farm activities.
- To support the manager in diversifying the service to reach a wider audience
- To support and develop those who attend to reach their potential
- Where necessary, to carry out personal care/medication
- To attend all mandatory training
