We are recruiting for a DT Teacher to join aOfsted rated 'Outstanding' school in Brent, North West London for September 2023. Interviews commencing imminently.

**The School**

The school have recently moved into their new, bright and airy building, which features a new library and a dining hall opening onto a courtyard, along with modern classrooms, a 5-court sports hall and a sixth form common room and study space. Outside, staffand students will benefit from a new all-weather pitch for sports like football, hockey, rugby and cricket and a multi-use games area for sports like basketball, netball and mini-tennis.

The DT department has outstanding facilities including fully stocked Food Technology laboratory, two fully stocked workshops and computer facilities. The schools Design Technology department is very modern with machines like laser cutters, 3D printer, andCAD/CAM machinery. They are transforming our curriculum to ensure that pupils have the knowledge and skills they need to be successful.

- Teaching KS3 and KS4 DT theory and practical lessons (with an option to teach KS5)
- Developing, maintaining and stimulating pupils' curiosity, interest and enjoyment in Design
- Developing students' familiarity, competence and confidence within a safe workshop environment
- Motivating students to contribute and engage in extra-curricular Design and Technology activities
- Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
- Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical DT exams
