**Job overview**:
**An opportunity has arisen within the Neuropsychology Department at Salford Care Organisation for a Secretary to support the Neuropsychology clinicians. **The clinicians within this department provide care to patients dealing with psychological and emotional aspects of health and illness as well as supporting people who are chronically ill.

Its is an expanding department and the successful applicant will be one of two secretaries supporting the team to provide the best possible care to their patient groups.

**Main duties of the job**:
Applications are welcome from enthusiastic, motivated clerical staff with previous experience with typing and administrative skills. Computer skills are essential. Duties will include management of a shared inbox, registering and booking patients from a waiting list and communicating effectively with both patients and staff. Previous use of excel would be advantageous. The post holder must have good inter-personal and organisational skills, be able to manage and prioritise a heavy workload and be able to work under pressure, both on their own and as part of a team.

- Experience and knowledge of using Outlook/Excel and other IT packages
