Baggage Handler

**Temporary Baggage Handlers - Portsmouth**

We have ad-hoc opportunities for early morning day shift baggage handlers, supporting the Portsmouth team. Start times can be as early as 6am, with a finish time around 4pm.

There are no guaranteed hours, advance warning is not always available, and shifts can be last minute notice..

You will be assisting with unloading and loading luggage, and trolleys, on to cruise ships and vessels. The role with require you to be able to lift and carry loads for cruise passengers, to and from the cruise terminal, and you will be on your feet all day.

**To work the shift, you will need the following**:

- Plain Black work trousers (no jeans, cargo pants, or tracksuit bottoms).
- A light blue or white collared shirt (short or long sleeved is fine).
- Safety boots or safety shoes with steel toe caps.
- Yellow high viz vest.
- Black or dark tie is preferred and will allow you to work in a more customer facing role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 1 day

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
